Cache files are important and you typically don't need to do something with them. But sometimes need to remove cache file manually from your phone.
Clearing cache file helps you save storage space on your phone.
If old cache files corrupted. In that case, apps can start experiencing problems. Deleting the corrupted cache files you can solve these issues.
If a browser or other app refuses to fetch the latest version of the app, clearing cache you can force it to update.
Delete Cache Files on Android
In the new version of Android phone, you need to delete the cache file in each app individually. Clearing the cache file to resolve storage or performance issues.
1. Open setting.
2. Select Storage.
3. Tab on Other Apps entry
4. Choose an app click on three dots (Menu) on the right side and choose Sort by size.
5. See which app takes more space and select that app.
6. On the app info page tap on Clear cache.
Only clear the cache files of the app on your phone. If you tap Clear Storage instead, you’ll remove all data from the app. This essentially resets it to a fresh state.
